Root Canal Shaping Redefined
The Ultimate Guide for an anatomically-guided root canal shaping
Date: June 17, 2023
Speaker: Dr. Ahmed Shawky
Learning objectives:
By the end of this advanced Endodontic Course, each candidate will be able to;
1- Perform scouting and patency of the root canal system during primary
root canal treatments
2- Have sufficient knowledge on the methods of disassembly of existing
intra-canal root filling materials and reshaping of canal systems in
retreatments.
3- Know how to manipulate the apex locator for predictable measurement
of the working length
4- Adopt the correct and safe method for a reproducible glide path
preparation
5- Modify the shaping sequence based on the encountered anatomy
6- Perform accurate cone fitting to ensure a problem-free treatment
Course Agenda:
1st Hour: Pretreatment Evaluation, the key to success
2nd Hour: How to select your files:The Recipe to safe and predictable shaping of
complex root canal systems
3rd Hour: RETREATMENTS: using different alloys for predictable disassembly of
intra-canal root filling material.
4th Hour: customizing the instrument sequence according to encountered anatomy
5th Hour: live demonstration and Hands-on training for the participants

Contemporary Ceramics
This presentation will cover many of the current “hot topics” in current dental ceramics from minimally invasive veneer restorations, to full coverage monolithic ceramic restorations. The lecture will go into how I design and plan anesthetic cases. It will also clarify the most appropriate clinical situations and restorative requirements of the various ceramic systems from conventional feldspathic glass systems, and glass-ceramic systems, to solid sintered mono-phase Zirconia-based systems, both layered and the users of the newer higher translucent “monolithic” higher CUBIC PHASE zirconia materials. Clinical and esthetic guidelines for using these ceramic systems will be covered. This presentation will focus on specific clinical indications and contraindications for the use of the various ceramic systems, specifically for no-prep, minimal prep, and normal prep veneers, inlay/onlay, “only (combination of veneer and onlay), and crown clinical indications.

Advanced Course On Bone Substitute Materials in Oral Surgery
The Use of Autologous Growth Factors to Enhance Clinical Outcomes (L-PRF)
About This event:
This one-day course event is designed for general practitioners placing dental implants and specialists that are interested in enhancing their bone grafting techniques.
In this event, you will learn the science behind LPRF and how to incorporate it into your clinical practice.
The hands-on training portion will teach you how to create the LPRF membrane /plugs and LPRF block /sticky bone products.
