Advanced Techniques in Soft and Hard Tissue Grafting (GTR & GBR) Expired
About This Course
Advanced Techniques in Soft and Hard Tissue Grafting (GTR & GBR)
Advanced Techniques in Soft and Hard Tissue Grafting
This is a two-day conference covering surgical techniques that will enable the clinician to address both the soft and hard tissue needs of the patient. From single tooth to advanced full arch cases, this conference will address the treatment planning process, and then implement sequential surgical phases to regenerate the hard and soft tissue complex.
It will address advanced hard tissue surgical techniques to regenerate ideal ridge form prior to implant placement including ridge expansion, onlay vs inlay grafts, hybrid composite grafts, and vertical vs horizontal graft principles.

- A curated industry exhibition for brands leading in implantology, biomaterials, digital technology, and regenerative science.
Bone & Soft Tissue management with PRF & sticky bone:
The ultimate course with the introduction of Osteoimmunology
By Dr Joseph CHOUKROUN MD.
Learning PRF updates and predictable management of bone grafting & soft tissues
Since the first publication of PRF in 2001, our goal has been to continuously update the PRF preparation and to broaden its indications. The PRF OCEAN is the latest update from 2026.
The recent introduction of the new bone science, osteoimmunology, highlights how the immune system controls bone formation and regulates bone loss. It also places the patient’s health at the core of the rehabilitation strategy. The use of inflammatory indexes calculated from the patient’s biology will help to set a prognosis and better predict the success of the surgery.
1/ Last updates of PRF: PRF “OCEAN.”
- Conditions of Blood Collection
- PRF preparation with Pompac: clot, membrane, patch, plugs, punched
- Indications: socket preservation, soft tissue improvement, sinus, bone grafting, and immediate loading
- PRF Ocean: why and how the PRF is salted
2/ Guided open-wound healing with PRF: the solution with less stress
The new strategy for immediate implant after extraction & lack of soft tissues.
3/ Bone management in sockets & around implants. Bone grafting success
- Osteo-immunology: how the immune system controls bone formation and regulates bone resorption
- Selection of biomaterials according to the immune response
- How sticky bone helps faster bone formation
- Influence of suture technique on soft tissue healing and wound closure
- How to place implants in bone grafts and avoid bone loss after bone grafts
4/ Peri-implantitis should be considered as an immune disease
- Scientific rationale: immune mechanisms & solutions to avoid bone loss around implants
5/ Inflammatory indexes: calculation at the time of consultation
The inflammatory indexes allow the surgeon to assess the patient’s health and reflect the level of the immune system, and to calculate and use the indexes to set a prognosis for the surgical outcome. Presentation of the LINKOR: the device that allows the surgeon to perform blood tests and obtain results in the dental office with only 3 blood drops in only 15 minutes
6/ Demo: PRF Ocean preparation & Sticky Bone.
