THE ART AND SCIENCE OF ANATOMY
This course combines the study of facial aesthetics with cadaveric anatomy to provide a deeper understanding of human anatomy in relation to aesthetic procedures. COURSE OVERVIEW AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES
This 2-day course on Facial Aesthetics using fillers will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of aesthetic techniques through a blend of didactic and hands-on learning.
Day One - Didactic Learning:
Participants will explore the fundamentals of facial anatomy, learning key structures relevant to filler placement. The course will cover various types of dermal fillers, including their properties and applications in aesthetic procedures. Discussion of aesthetic assessment principles will enable participants to evaluate patient needs and aesthetic goals effectively. Participants will learn about the indications and contraindications for filler use, as well as essential safety protocols to ensure patient well-being.
Day Two - Hands-On Cadaveric Training:
Participants will engage in cadaveric studies to enhance their understanding of anatomical variations and considerations when performing injections. Hands-on practice will focus on safe and effective techniques for filler application in various facial areas. Instructors will provide guidance and feedback, helping participants refine their skills and develop confidence in their technique. The session will also address potential complications and strategies for their management, ensuring participants are well-prepared for real-world scenarios.
